Well good morning to you all!
I'm sitting down in our humble abode in East York, ON. East York is in Toronto and we love it. It's much more busier granted and we do miss the tranquility Kitchener offered however Toronto offers much more than Kitchener offers us.
We need the accessibility that TTC offers us and accessibility we can get almost everywhere here in T.O. Kitchener is quiet, granted but too boring at times for us. I'd be bored to tears because I grew up living there.
When we first moved to Toronto, we were out all the time, walking everywhere and wanted to eat here and there. The different restaurants we wanted to try but we knew we had to watch our finances.
College starts for me in less than 2 weeks. I have orientation and workshops to go to before classes starts.
Mosey and Hannah just LOVES this flat because of the animal traffic they get all day. We have Anakin, he's a handsome cat that just makes himself at home here at this apartment building. Mosey likes Anakin but Hannah wants nothing to do with him.
He gobbles all the food, pees/poops in both litter boxes and plops himself down in both cats' baskets to sleep. This sets Hannah off in a real tizzy and she'll bite him on his leg but he'll ignore her. Normally when Hannah bites Mosey on his leg, Mosey will run off and nurse his leg or run to me for intervention. [I can't say "What a wimp!" because I always say "Ahh ahhh, no fighting!"]
Our flat is twice the size of the Kitchener flat and we just really enjoy the open space. We have several walls that were painted dark red when we arrived and it really offsets the mood in this flat. The opposite walls are painted ivory. Really relaxing for us.
Next week Friday, we will be in Kitchener as I need to see my family doctor and from there I will ask to be switched to a Toronto doctor. I would like to keep my current doctor and ask if I can see another doctor for temporary visits as I dislike going to walk in clinics. I never get the answer from those walk in clinics, who really likes to sit almost 2 hours to see a doctor for only 5 minutes? I know I don't and have far too much important things to do than sit down and watch other people being sick or whining to the receptionist when their turn is.
Patience is a virtue and whining won't make the clock go faster, I know I tried but still.. no luck!
I am off to do Christmas card making and have a great day everyone!
Tactile smile!
Patty
